I’m Marianne Mitchell, a self-taught artist based in Atlanta, Georgia. My work explores emotion, connection, and our relationship with the people and places around us. Working primarily in acrylic, I move between expressive figurative work and landscapes, using bold color, visible brushwork, and intuitive marks to capture feeling rather than perfect representation. Through painting, I hope to create space for people to slow down, feel something, and recognize their own connection to the world around them.
